Renamed all Pride Cloaks to "Title" Pride Cloak instead of the various pun/joke names

Why / Balance

I don't see why all the cloaks are various puns/jokes. Some of the joke names could be construed negatively or are just confusing.

SS14 is openly LGBTQ+ Inclusive and there are the pins and all that jazz. No reason for the cloaks to not be called Pride Cloaks

I liked the in-jokes a lot more. I don't think anyone at all found them offensive, and the poison -> biathlon cloak name change was good to support this.

Also makes it a lot more funnier when bigots don't know what to be mad at cause they can't figure out what it means.

I personally don't see how the proposed rename and all other current names can be taken as offensive, and I didn't know all of the in-jokes (super well) when I first came into SS14 anyways.

fwiw, i think the bi cloak being the poison cloak wasn't all that odd. purple is The Poison Colour, and such.
but regardless of whether that specific name was good, i think getting rid of all the mildly humorous names is just kind of unfortunate. the puns are often at least somewhat funny, and broadly harmless.

personally one hundred percent agree with this change. the current naming scheme genuinely is a bit offensive to me, not because any of the jokes are offensive, but because i simply do not understand why the items should be layered over in joke names, instead of being openly and proudly displayed for what they actually are. i would much rather see a "trans pride cloak" in the game than the "vampire cloak" with trans colors that we have.

also, if you wanted to compromise. you could just leave the jokes in the descriptions. that way you can keep them lighthearted while still making them more openly supportive.

Personally I'm of the opposite opinion: having them be jokes like this shows they aren't just "let's import 10 flags into the game so we can virtue signal" content. I personally like the jokes and would definitely be sad to see "vampire cloak" go.

I do agree that "poison" is not a great name though. "cyclops" probably isn't either.
