Getting Started
This is a quick guide on getting started with Sandwichable.
To make a very basic sandwich, all you will need are 2 bread and a few of your favorite food items. Firstly, you will want to make a Sandwich Table. Afterwards, place it down. Right-click the table with a piece of bread. The bread will be placed on the table. Add the rest of your food. Only food items can be placed on the table. To remove an item, right click with an empty hand. Place your top bread item, and remove the sandwich by sneaking + right=clicking. The sandwich can now be eaten, and will restore the hunger and saturation of all food inside. Alternatively, you can set it down for display by sneaking + placing.
If you want to be more efficient with your bread, then it's best to slice and/or toast it. Craft a cutting board with the wood variant of your choice. Then, craft a kitchen knife. Place a loaf of bread on a cutting board, and right click on it with the knife. This will slice the bread into 4 slices. Totally, the slices will restore 8 hunger, compared to the 5 hunger that the full loaf restores. To increase this number, craft a Redstone Toaster. Place your bread inside, and shift + right-click to start it. Once it's done, you can remove your toast, which will restore more hunger.
To obtain lettuce and tomatoes, find a shrub. Breaking the shrub with your fist will give you either lettuce or tomato seeds. Plant those, and when they grow, harvest them. You can cut them on a cutting board; lettuce heads will yield lettuce leaves, and tomatoes will yield tomato slices. Use these in your sandwiches, or just put in a full tomato of lettuce head. The choice is yours!
To make bacon, slice up a porkchop on a cutting board. Take the pork cuts and smoke, campfire-cook, or even toast them to get bacon strips. A regular furnace will not suffice.
Cheese is one of the most important sandwich ingredients. To make it, first make a basin out of any type of vanilla polished stone slab (Yes, that includes blackstone and basalt, snapshot players! Although, polished basalt does not come in a slab variant). Fill the basin with milk, and wait for 3 real-life minutes. Afterwards, when you see particles, right-click to remove your cheese. Cut this on a cutting board to get cheese slices. Entire wheels of cheese give you nausea, since eating a whole cheese wheel is gross.
