Basin
The Basin is a block used to make cheese that comes in 3 variants (5 in the snapshots); Andesite, Diorite, and Granite (Blackstone and Basalt in the snapshots).
Basins can be crafted with the respective polished slab (Basalt will use the full Polished Basalt block) in a bucket-like pattern. It will yield one basin (2 for Basalt).
When right-clicked on with a milk bucket, a basin will fill up with milk. Wait for 3 real-life minutes, and the milk will have turned to cheese. If you use a bucket on the milk in the middle of the fermenting process, you will receive a Fermenting Milk Bucket. This can be used once more on the basin to fill it with fermenting milk.
