I think we should wait until Yew supports static site generation before taking on this task. I wouldn't want to redo the docs site and all the little tasks and maintenance that come with that and then do it all over again in a few months.

How about we use #71 as a discussion board for now to discuss the shortcomings of gitbook and what features we would like to have in a new docs site?

I know we both feel that better docs are really important for Yew, so I think we should continue focusing on improving the content (like you've been doing) on the existing site and document the pain points we come across in #71.

I agree – rewriting the website twice doesn’t sound fun. A list of shortcomings would be good, and content definitely is the most important thing to work on at the moment.
