xdg-terminal-execis a proposed standard and reference implementation for launching a terminal. It is only used by GNOME. It is unused in KDE, as the preferred method for setting the default terminal is to use "System Settings > Default Applications".If we look in the Bazzite repo, we see that this file is only included in the silverblue variants of Bazzite: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Aublue-os%2Fbazzite%20xdg-terminal-exec&type=code.
