v2.12.0 (7 September 2016)

CmdStan release notes

The v2.12.0 release of CmdStan includes Stan v2.12.0 and Stan Math v2.12.0 Libraries.

Most of the changes to v2.12.0 come from improvements from the Stan and Math libraries. One particular change was that the makefiles were fixed for this release (#494).

Note: Download using the links to cmdstan-2.12.0.tar.gz or cmdstan-2.12.0.zip for a version that includes Stan and all libraries. (The "Source code" downloads does not include the Stan library and will not work as-is.)
