Notice that in the OpenSSL site the old packages have been moved under source/old, which will make the third-party download fail unless the latest version is used.

I guess they want to force people to upgrade. Nice trolling with that move.

Static build failure in rawhide tracked in #314. Valgrind failures will be fixed with #312.
