This allows us to not rely on VAD to determine when the bot has stopped speaking. Its much more accurate and if you use Pipecat with interruptions turned off this helps a lot as you stop missing the first word said.
This is still being worked on and I need to test it. Submitting as a draft so I can discuss with the Pipecat team.
