A bit of a shameless plug for the Surfer waveform viewer, https://surfer-project.org/, but also some fixes of the actual contents. (Removed trailing space is editor, not on purpose.)
Apologies if you disagree with the inclusion. If so, feel free to close. (I can create a separate with the corrections.)
If you think it is OK, let me know if you think I should add something to the man-page. The statements there are not as "recommending" as in the README, so it didn't really make sense to me to put something there (or rather that seemed like even more of a shameless plug). Once Surfer has a stable scripting format, one may consider a
--surfer-switch similar to--gtkwand then revise it.
