Custom Channels

The terms Playlist and Channel are used interchangeably.

Viewing your Custom Channels

• Direct link
• Guide > Select Channels > Custom Channels

Adding Custom Channels

• Open the guide
• Click "Select Channels" to open the Select Channels window
• Click "Custom Channels" at the bottom to open the Custom Channels window
• Paste each given playlist in an empty text box
• Save, and reload

What they are:

• Regular, RTV-compatible playlists ("channels")
• A way to curate your own viewing experience through RTV
• A way to share these curated experiences with others
• Stored locally in your browser via local storage
  • Some add-ons/extensions might group local storage with cookies

What they are not:

• Literal links to a YouTube playlist, those must be converted
• "Official" RTV playlists that appear in the default or extra channels lists
• Grounds to request they be made "official"
• Stored on the RTV website or repository
