According to the Open Closed Principle (OCP) from SOLID principles, we refactored the MetricSnapshot class so that the method
as_jsonis implemented in its subclasses (CompoundMetricSnapshot,HotspotMetricSnapshotandNativeMetricSnapshot), instead of checking the class in the parent method
