Currently, the link refers to https://airbnb.io/lottie, but it seems https://lottie.github.io/ contains more information. I'm very new to lottie, so, honestly, I'm not sure which is more appropriate, but I found the former(the latter) is more convenient because it contains the link to the format specifications.

Hmm. Given that the first link doesn't have any mention of the second (or vice-versa), it looks like the lottie organisation was an uncoordinated takeover? What's unclear to me is that it's still using the same name; if the original project is still going, which there's little to indicate it isn't, it's weird that the same name is used.

You also say that the one you're moving away from is more convenient?

I don't know the details, but I found the link in Linux Foundation's announcement. This says Airbnb is also the member, so I hope it's not so uncoodinated.

Oops, this was just my mistake. I meant https://lottie.github.io/ has a link to the specification. Sorry!

In my understanding, https://airbnb.io/lottie/ describes about the software to convert Adobe After Effects animations to a specific format parse and render the JSON exported from Adobe After Effects. It says

Lottie is a library for Android, iOS, Web, and Windows that parses Adobe After Effects animations exported as JSON (...snip...)

https://lottie.github.io/ is about the specific format, not about the software. It says

Lottie is an open-source vector graphics animation file format

I guess the word "Lottie" in velato's README refers to the format, not the software, so I feel https://lottie.github.io/ is more appropriate.

The new link is better, since it's tied to the new Lottie Action Committee. Thanks!
