Add multi-stage Dockerfile

Stages:

  1. Build .jar with Gradle
  2. Copy it to the new container and run it via OpenJDK

To build Apktool Docker image

docker build --platform=linux/amd64 -t apktool -f Dockerfile .

Usage: decompile and extract APK

docker run --rm --name apktool-temp --platform=linux/amd64 -v $(pwd):/data/ -it apktool d test.apk

Last time Docker was added. I reverted it a bit later due to many issues. I haven't had the time to peek this, so for now I'll leave link to my revert and revisit when I have time.

Not going forward with this iteration. If Docker comes to Apktool I want it to work as easy as apkid does.

git clone https://github.com/rednaga/APKiD
cd APKiD/
docker build . -t rednaga:apkid
docker/apkid.sh ~/reverse/targets/android/example/example.apk

That to me is the pinnacle of success. No messing around with stuff - just pass filepath and options and it handles the rest. No complicated mounts, etc.
