Upgrades (most) dependencies to address deprecation warnings and security vulnerabilities.
Currently main has:
22 vulnerabilities (7 moderate, 12 high, 3 critical), this branch has 0.I left prettify and uglifyjs alone since both of those looked like potentially thornier upgrades (prettier mainly b/c it would introduce code changes, may do that in a separate PR).
