MNML v4.0.2
MNML is stable, and has been for a while, and I don’t see any reason to continue with “releases”. However, here’s one final release for old time’s sake. From now on, please get the latest and greatest code right from the main repository.
Here’s what’s new:
- Support for Ghost v1.0+
- A new leaner & meaner main header, with support for a publication logo.
- Set navigation links from the comfort of your blog’s admin panel, rather than hardcoding them.
- Went jQuery Free™
- Add support for social links in menu and author bios
- … and many, many more small bugfixes and improvements!
MNML v3.0.5
An incredible 43 commits have been pushed since the last release, and v3.0.5 has some major improvements in store. The entire theme’s typography has be overhauled to have a consistent vertical scale, performance has been greatly improved, and numerous bugs tracked down and fixed.
- Now has consistent vertical rhythm and type-scale
- Major overhaul of the menu to be leaner, cleaner, and no longer depended on javascript.
- Switched to superior, semantic pullquotes
- Syntax highlighting fixed, and deferred to speed up your blog
- Styles for inputs (for a contact page or whatever)
- Updated codeblock styling
- Updated print stylesheet
- Fixed bugs with math layout
- Improved webfont performance by minimizing requests
Enjoy!
