Alperen is a senior Computer Engineering student in Bogazici University. He realized he started to spend his entire life on his desk at home and decided to invest in a more comfortable desk. Then he saw an ad for Buyo and decides to try it out by downloading the application to his phone.
Osman is a local furniture manufacturer. He recently decided to take his business online so the entire Turkey can reach his products. And after a research, he decided to try out Buyo.
- Alperen signs up
- He checks his email for a verification
- He sees the email and clicks the verification link
- Gets back in to the Buyo app and signs in with his new account
- Check recommendations before searching for a desk, clicks product X
- Goes through comments and sees a malicious comment
- Reports the comment
- Put product X to wishlist to decide later
- He already has a model in mind so searches for Fjork'
- Adds Fjork to cart and proceeds to checkout
- Sign out
- Osman signs in as vendor
- He checks orders and see that Fjork has been ordered
- He writes a thank you note to the customer who ordered
- Update the price of Product X because he has a lot left in his hand
- Sign out and sign back in as Alperen
- Alperen goes to notifications tab
- Sees that Product X in our wishlist has been discounted
- Dont like the discount
- Go to messages, see that you have already received a message from that vendor and write back a mean one
Burak is a senior Computer Engineering student who hasn't slept for 2 nights trying to prepare for a presentation and is feeling a bit grumpy because of that. His phone broke during finals and has ordered another one.
Orhan is the owner of a phone dealership on the verge of bankruptcy and shifted his business to Buyo as a last hope.
- Orhan signs in as vendor
- He deletes an old model phone
- He adds a new phone product
- Check total earnings to see if he is still almost bankrupt
- He updates the name and stock of a product because he wants to try a marketing trick and somebody stole some phones last night
- He sees that the orders is succesfully updated by checking the updated name
- He cancels an order because he realized the orders description was wrong
- Notify the customer why we are cancelling his order
- Switch to Burak
- He signs in with Google
- Checks notifications
- See that his order is cancelled and goes to messages to see why
- Messages vendor, 'how can you do this, it was my finals week'
- Then Burak gets mad and reports the product for misleading description
- Switch to admin panel
- Check reported comments
- See the comment reported by Alperen
- Removes the comment
- Check reported products
- See the product reported by Burak
- Realize that the customer is right and bans Orhan
- Switch to Orhan
- Orhan tries to sign in but can’t because he's banned
- Sees the message
- That's it
Action items:
- Populate the database with users and products that we are going to use in the presentation
- Change the alert message we receive when we are banned: "For more information, contact [email protected]"
