I target Pax Exam 4.14.0 and related updates to Karaf 4.5.x (especially due to JDK requirement).

4.14.0 works with Java 11, 17 and 21.

Yes I know. My proposal is more to target Karaf 4.5.x now 😄 (once 4.4.7 has been released).
