Dispatchy End User License Agreement (EULA)

Version 1.2

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you (the "User") and Squid Coder Industries regarding the Dispatchy software ("Software"). By installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined here. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the Software.

1. Grant of License

Squid Coder Industries grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for personal, non-commercial purposes. This Software is proprietary to Squid Coder Industries and is licensed, not sold. All rights not explicitly granted are reserved by Squid Coder Industries.

2. Authorized Users

This Agreement applies only to end users authorized by Squid Coder Industries. You may not share, sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise distribute access to this Software. Access provided as part of a private or beta testing program is strictly limited to designated testers and is subject to confidentiality requirements.

2.1 Beta Testers

Beta testers and other pre-release users are provided unique access keys (such as private beta keys) that are strictly confidential. These keys may not be shared, distributed, or otherwise disclosed to any unauthorized party. Beta testers acknowledge that beta software may have limitations and agree to keep all feedback and experiences private until the official public release.

3. User-Generated Content: Language Translation Files

Squid Coder Industries welcomes user-submitted language translation files to help support additional languages. By submitting any translation file, you agree to grant Squid Coder Industries a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and incorporate the translation into the Software or related projects. These contributions are voluntary, and Squid Coder Industries does not guarantee that any particular translation will be incorporated into the Software.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Modify, adapt, translate (except for permitted language translation files), reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software except as permitted by law.
  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass any security features, digital rights management (DRM) protections, or licensing mechanisms within the Software.
  • Use, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the Software in any way not explicitly allowed under this Agreement.
  • Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, assign, or transfer the Software to any third party, or otherwise permit any unauthorized third party to use the Software.

5. Proprietary Rights and Intellectual Property

The Software and all associated content, including but not limited to logos, designs, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of Squid Coder Industries. This Agreement grants you no rights to these proprietary materials beyond the limited license to use the Software in accordance with this Agreement.

6. Updates and Modifications

Squid Coder Industries reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Software at any time without prior notice. Any updates or modifications provided to you are also governed by this Agreement, unless such updates are accompanied by a separate license agreement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranty of any kind. Squid Coder Industries disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squid Coder Industries shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from or related to the use or inability to use the Software.

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Squid Coder Industries may terminate this Agreement at any time if you violate any term herein. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession.
