About The Hackathon

In light of the UC Davis Picnic Day 2023, the Quantum Computing Club at Davis is hosting a three-day event to design exciting games showcasing the principles of quantum mechanics. Whether you are a beginner or an expert coder, here is the perfect chance to hone your skills and get to know our quantum community!

Timeline

• Start Date and Time: January 26th, 2023 at 6:00 PM PST
• End Date and Time: January 28th, 2023 at 6:30 PM PST

Judging Parameters

1. Project Completeness and Functionality (40%)

• Does the game stand as an individual end-to-end product?

2. Creativity in Design (30%)

• Does the game incorporate quantum computing principles into its design and create comfortable user experiences?

3. Innovation in Idea (30%)

• Does the game excel at teaching quantum computing through gamification?

How To Submit Your Project?

Follow the steps to submit your project in the hackathon:

• Visit the Issues tab in the respository and click on New Issue

• Find the Hackathon Submission option and click on Get Started

• Enter your submission details and you're good to go!

Rules and Code of Conduct

All participants must agree to the Rules and Code of Conduct to participate in the Hackathon.
