This is just another PHP framework that tries to be as lightweight as possible, yet offer as much often used functionality as possible. It was build quite a while ago (that's why it still "offers" functionality for the mssql_* PHP functions) and has been extended in the last years quite frequently, it is currently in use in several applications and is best used when you don't need a big framework like Symfony.
Please keep in mind that it has been developed by just one person, it lacks unit test support (still on my todo list) and the documentation and structure are far from perfect. If you want to help by contributing or restructuring or wherever you like to help, I would greatly appreciate your help!
