Mechanical Warfare is a Mindustry mod adding brand new units, mechs, and turrets. Not for the faintest of engines.

The biggest update since the first release of MechWarfare is here! Here is a list of additions and changes in this version:

Addition:

  • Halberd ability: releases electric orbs when at peak velocity
  • Upsylon ability: extra plasma cannon
  • Vortex: a strong, purple-class ship capable of generating energy shield to protect itself
  • Battleaxe: a fighter unit equipped with lava-rocket launchers; deadly against ground units
  • M-Tron: a heavy ground unit equipped with energy rifles
  • Serpent: a light helicopter mounted with light guns and missile launchers
  • Anarchy: a ground boss unit equipped with a pair of Quake-type long-range blasters
  • Fire Aura: a defense block that applies fire damage to all units within its radius; doesn't affect blocks
  • Seism a.k.a. Quake MK2: possesses a better firepower and range than Quake
  • MK2 Module: used in construction of advanced and high-tech structures, defenses, and utilities
  • MK2 Module Assembler: assembles MK2 modules
  • Added unit factory for Chaos Array
  • Added a base block for 5x5 turrets (sprite by @kapzduke)
  • A new campaign map (attack!)

Changes:

  • Front Gate map has been updated
  • Lowered health for Halberd as it is now a hit-and-run mech
  • Blow is now a double-burst turret, and bullets don't pierce anymore
  • Quake now rotates faster, reloads faster, and recovers from recoil faster (generally... Quake is now faster)
  • Ghost now accepts surge alloy as ammo (and it's shockingly effective)
  • Sabre factories now requires acid as input
  • Sabre factories now supports up to 4 units
  • Phantasm now has narrower shoot cone, but rotates faster
  • Hover units now have their engine colors matching their class colors
  • Removed idle sound for several crafter blocks
  • Various tweaks and balancing
  • Minor sprite corrections
  • Changes to mod description
  • fixed: Voltmeter electric bolt animation plays even when the game is paused
  • fixed: Voltmeter heat doesn't go down when no power is available
  • internal: Library for effects and custom color palette

Please note that this mod is still in heavy development, so expect more features to be added regularly!
