Color Symbolism
Color symbolism deals as symbolism of colors with motifs and properties of colors. Thereby, single colors are connected with certain motives. Especially human characteristics, feelings and elementary experiences can be associated with specific colors.
Color symbols are more or less generally understood in a cultural circle and accordingly "valid". They play a role in art (for example painting, film and literature), but also in everyday life. Note that each culture has their own color symbology, so what you personally are associating with certain colors may not be represented here.
Spectrum uses color symbolism to connect Minecrafts 16 colors to natural forces, feelings, or ideas. Each color is associated with one or more of those. You do not have to remember these, but it is a nice piece of trivia in Spectrums lore. You can find all those entries in your guidebook, too, as soon as you unlocked the corresponding entry.
