Recently there's been an update to the nightly release tags, e.g. instead of
NAFD24-02-13we haveNFD_DEV_240213_A9. In addition we've added a second line of development with a second nightly, with names likeNFD_PROD4_240213_A9.Along with nightly tags, based on a conversation on the
#daq-sw-librariansSlack channel I had with Wes and Alessandro, it was decided to have a new kind of candidate release name - e.g.,fddaq-v4.3.0-rc2-a9will refer to the second candidate Alma9 build during thefddaq-v4.3.0release process.The daq-buildtools documentation should be "modernized" to reflect these changes.
