please tell me how to use it?

Hello??
Someone can tell us if that is active or how we can use? @kjohnson

This is not an actively supported plugin. It was an experiment that hasn't been released. Technically I believe it works, just unsupported.

  1. Download Zip
  2. Upload to WordPress and install
  3. add the [ninja_forms_subs form_id=2] shortcode to a page (form_id) is the id of your form (Just a guess)
  4. Should show your submissions but doesn't. Still trying to work that bit out

I reached the same conclusion as @mustafahmed... The shortcode appears to be correct but no joy.

It would be nice to be able to permit users to retrieve their submitted forms so that they can download them as PDFs from the front end without needing to go into the dashboard. I imagine it would also be useful for things like support requests, to review messages that have been sent?

@kense20xx I'm going to find some free time and dig into the code a bit more

@mustafahmed

Have you looked at it yet? I haven't seen any revisions for 9 months. I'd really like to use this free solution. I'd love to be able to use it to display a user submitted Suggestion Forms on my site.

@Jessexd and then Ninja Forms will close, because noone pays.
Go ahead man, you either hire someone to do it for you - money involes, or you support the software and buy something that costs 39 - 49$.

Easy things, be fair with the software that helps you make money.

@Basilakis

This totally has nothing to do with what I asked. You realize this is github, right? An open source community, yeah?

This is an unsupported project. It was a quick spike for a proof of concept that we have no real intention of continuing in this state.

If there is something that doesn't work and you want to submit a pull request, those are welcome.

@jameslaws

Ah, I understand. However, it's not much of a proof of concept if the major function of the whole thing didn't work at any point during development.

It did and does work. We have decided not to document it because it's not something we have any intention of supporting.

@jameslaws

Sorry, I don't want to argue, just want to understand. Apparently, I'm supposed to put: [ninja_forms_subs form_id=2] in a page, then the submission data would display, however, it's blank. Shortcode accepted, but no data is shown. Everyone in this issue reports the same thing. So I don't consider it working.

I don't remember where, maybe under advanced for the form, there is a setting that you have to configure as to what you specifically want displayed. We have also made some changes to merge tags and I don't think this has ever been updated to support those changes. Not sure if that breaks it now or not.

@jameslaws

Thank you so much, I have it working 100% now. You can close this issue. Would you like me to create a readme for instructions you can add to this project? I like doing those.

@Jessexd will you please provide the instructions you followed to get it working? I'd like to experiment with this and see if I can get it working, too.

@cesarh28 and everybody interested by that, here is the way it works:

1° Make sure you are using the new V3 of Ninja Forms
2° Copy the "ninja-forms-submissions-display-master" folder in you plugin folder and activate plugin
3° Go to WP Dashboard -> Ninja Forms -> Select your form ->Advanced -> Submission Display (this option comes with the plugin)
4° See "SUBMISSIONS DISPLAY LOOP", at top right there is a button, open the box and you'll find your fields like {field:name_1508069550293}, copy / paste that in the submissions display loop
5° Use the shortcode [ninja_forms_subs form_id=x] (x = form ID) in the front page

I've managed, using @Akaaal's explanation, to have the list of forms displayed.

I have the PDF Form Submissions add-on and still would like to permit users to retrieve their submitted forms and save them as PDFs without needing to go into the dashboard, so I'll need to do some more work around that... If anyone has any ideas, feel free to let me know!

@sansfrontieremarketing

anyone know to show the loop in a reverse order to the default - so latest submission is first in list ?

@Orrefors

Or to only show inlogged users submission?
