alternatively set up env variables instead config files

I think I could make it work with the CONFIG_JSON, and you just pass in the JSON, but I'm not sure how I would implement multiple env values for different config options, as there is no easy way to process a whole load of env variables as a python dictionary skarf can render the page with.
