Saving content from wallabagger #105
Comments
Hi! As I understand ability to save any content will be added in version 2.3 of wallabag api. Then we can implement it in wallabagger as well. |
Great! I think it will bring a huge usefullness improvement for those of us who intensively take references and cites from the web. Many thanks for the info. |
2.3 does have the API now: any plans to implement this? i know that wallabag has, on the server-side, ways to bypass some paywalls by inserting credentials on the server, but since that's not accessible to users, i find this feature to be much more useful... |
Yeah, there are plans, if we have time... |
Would a bounty help? |
Feature request.
Would be nice if we could save not the entire article but only the parts we select. You know, many times qe are only interested in 2 or 3 paragraphs of an article, not all of it.
Also, would be nice that the parts of a webpage we could save were any parts of the page. For example, many, many times in blogs, news sites, Youtube videos, etc, the commentaries are even more interesting than the articles themselves. I miss to be able to save those comments in Wallabag; so far I'm doing it with Evernote, that is far from desirable for people who believe in privacy and FLOSS.
Regards
