I promised to build some examples for constructing stretchy fences. This issue will help me track it.

A more advanced example would use element/container queries and could be cross-posted to, e.g., WICG/cq-usecases#63

Another interesting proof-of-concept would be to use CSS Custom Paint -- help welcome.
