This tool should run on PAGER group desktops, and authenticate using ssh keys as is done for access to on-prem systems. This tool should allow users to:

  • re-run events
  • stop/un-stop events
  • retrieve PAGER outputs (hopefully from database, maybe also from S3) - model results, exposures
  • retrieve user information (encrypt using requestor's public key?)
  • modify inputs like: landscan grid, country code grid, empirical loss parameters, etc.
  • update PAGER source code
  • update PAGER compute container (AMI, Docker container, etc.)
  • Control user database: add, delete, modify (add profiles, change email, thresholds)
  • Upload HAZUS input (lots of questions about how we are going to integrate HAZUS into real-time)
  • Add famous cities to database (see Cloud Migration: Famous Cities #279 )
