nshmp-haz is a Java library developed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Seismic Hazard Mapping Project (NSHMP) to conduct probabilistic seismic hazard (PSHA) and related analyses. The primary goals of the library are to:
- Enable high performance seismic hazard calculations required to generate detailed maps over large areas and
- Support a variety of USGS web services and applications related to seismic hazards research and the dissemination of hazard data.
