Overriding Hover + Scroll Manual

Within a homepage template I have an area where the social "large" buttons and their counts should appear under some teasers, using the function I need to override the event trigger so when page loads it shows the counts instead of hover or scroll.

I have another section which will have a custom "share" graphic that when hovered it should hide and display small buttons with counts.

I'll tinker a little with this, I love your implementation.
