Hi @tkeskita, I've been trying out the VTK To Blender Particles node.
The colors work fine in the Rendered Viewport Shading mode with the Cycles engine.
But the final rendered image (with Cycles) does not show any color.
Is this a known issue? or am I missing something?

I remember that I had many issues with Blender particles, it's very sensitive system and seems not always to work, see #12 . You can try to find issue by bisecting against a working case. You can try e.g. small number of particles, set viewport to solid mode/rendering/material preview mode before rendering, change frame number in timeline, switch between CPU/GPU rendering. Also check is there some message in the terminal to help debugging? Sometimes just reopening file seemed to make a difference.

Edit: Try also to render in separate window/image editor, there is something weird there also.

I did try several of the options you mentioned, but no luck.
I'll give it a go again later with a more simple setup and see if I can get it to work.

Finally, I solved the problem. I had set the "Generate Material" for the glyph object of the particles.
If I uncheck "Generate Material" I do get the colors in the final rendered image.
I don't know why, but doing "Render Image" updates the whole BVTK node tree again. I guess, this is causing the issue.
