I created a python package called
tailwindin the test-pypi environment. The package includes the standalone CLI, and exposes subcommands as a python module. This is an attempt to replace NPM withtailwindindjango-tailwind.Notable things:
tailwindtodjango_tailwindto avoid name clashes. I believe this is the right move as it is specific to Django.... tailwind startcommand is not properly implemented astailwind.watchis not implemented.--postcssoption is disabled as it is currently failing withtailwindcssCLI as well. See Tailwind Standalone CLI fails building with --postcss option tailwindlabs/tailwindcss#8766.postcss.config.jshas been replaced with the default file fromtailwindcss initcommand.pluginsinpostcss.config.jshas been emptied.Fixes #125 and #140.
