Hello,

I have been researching Weather Ontologies for a building-management product and came to know about the Weather Ontology v0.9 in the SEAS project. I reviewed the newer versions 1.0 and 1.1 of the SEAS ontology project, but couldn't find the WeatherOntology reference in them.

Has WeatherOntology been deprecated? If yes, what could be an alternate weather ontology to v0.9, the development team could suggest referencing?

Thank you!

Maulik

Dear Maulik,

We had no plan to update the WeatherOntology, and the project SEAS hasn't been updated for a long time. I am unsure it will be resumed in the near future.

Examples of Weather ontologies can be found on the Linked Open Vocabulary. Search for example https://lov.linkeddata.es/dataset/lov/terms?q=precipitation

for example https://www.auto.tuwien.ac.at/downloads/thinkhome/ontology/WeatherOntology.owl#

Best regards,
