Since 6.1, the plugin loads fine and it can be configured in game, but it fails to copy any prices for me.
Prior to 6.1 plugin worked fine.

  • Have tested uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, same issue.
  • Have tested quitting the game between uninstalls and deleting any remnants from the Dalamund folders, same issue.
  • Running the game using XIVonMac.

Does the plugin generate any logs that can be provided to debug the failure?

The 1.4.0.3 update was the first and only time someone else built the plugin binary (thanks Franz!)
There weren't any actual changes made in #23, maybe 1.4.0.4 will work now that it's me building again?

I’m afraid I’m on 1.4.0.4, also on Mac, and the plug-in is also doing nothing for me. I’m not sure if it started with 6.1 or moving my character to Oceanian DC, I would almost think it was the latter, but I would not bet on it as it probably sounds kind of silly.

Just like OP, I can see PennyPincher as installed in Dalamud, I can open the configuration window with both the cogwheel button in Dalamud plug-in listing and the /penny command, but when putting items to Market Board, nothing happens – neither the undercut price gets copied to the pasteboard, nor does the typical chat message appear in the chat window.

Just like OP, I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plug-in multiple times, as well as manually deleting every trace of the plug-in that I could find in Dalamud’s folders. The only thing I haven’t tried so far is nuking all of Dalamud, which I think helped someone over at the XIV on Mac Discord server resolve the same issue.

If I could help to debug the issue in any way, I’d love to help.

I have no explanation as to why this worked but renaming the Dalamud folder to Dalamud.old and Dalamud Assets to Dalamud Assets.old, re-launching the game and having XOM re-download Dalamud fixed the issue for me.
