Hi,
I wrote your code in swift but when I monitor it with Instruments I got lots of memory leaks.
Also I checked your app (SubjectiveCPhotoPanner) and it has lots of memory leaks too.
Below is a screen shot of your app profile in Instruments (just the sample app on Github).
