New version doubled the line height [.otb file types]

I just installed latest 1.24.1 version and the line height is ~ double size.

Was this change intentional or it's just a bug?

It's a bug, I'll have to figure out why this is happening - it shouldn't, none of the line height metrics have changed in ages. I think it's, as usual with bugs like these, some weird gremlin in the build toolchain.

@slavfox I see. I was ablet to fix it on some places but I cannot go thru all the places and fix that (too many uses too little time).

I have no clue why this is happening - bitmap font rendering is deeply nonstandard, and nothing related to line-height in Cozette itself has changed. I also cannot reproduce this on my end. It would help immensely if you let me know the last version with the correct line height and the first version with a line height that doesn't work, and which format you're using.

@slavfox I just tired to walk thru latest releases and 1.22.2 is the last version that doesn't contain this bug. I use cozette.otp and CozetteVector.ttf files in my system. Hope it helps.

The Hi DPI version is ok in the latest version unlike the bitmap version where the issue still occurs.

I have no idea how to even tackle this, honestly. I cannot reproduce this, and the font metrics have not changed between 1.22.2 and 1.23.0.

I have a new info:

On this site I see this weird stuff:

Once I zoom in and Fifefox changes the font I see this:

If I downgrade to 1.22.2 I see this:

That means that there is (maybe another) bug with crossed-out letters.

I just tried the new 1.26.0 and the issue still persists. But I did try to use .bdf file instead of .otb and the issue is gone. Therefore I updated the issue title.

So the solution for any folks that experience the same issue the temporary soulution is to use .bdf files.

Another update: the weird "bold" strikethrough occurs only in bold font weight cases (in CSS).
