Works on ISO files only? #1

Do I understand correctly that this software "only" works on .iso files, and not on DVD drives?
And that .iso files are modified in-place, that is the output is not written to a new file?

So the workflow needs to be:

  1. Get .iso from DVD drive with ddrescue
  2. Remove CSS from .iso file with dvdripper

Is that correct?
