Android: type(key.HOME) does not go back to home screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Navigate to 2nd or third page in an application
2.then use type(key.HOME)in the script
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected behavior is the application should navigate to home screen but what is observed is no action will be taken and sikuli script executes next command

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1
Please provide any additional information below.
