Serious conflict with the MSGE mediaplayer extension #9

When using this extension along with https://github.com/linuxmint/MGSE/tree/master/mgse-mediaplayer weird things happen after a while. First, when invoking the window list through alt-tab the list won't disappear. Then the user will be unable to switch between windows. Then it'll be impossible to type anything, forcing the user to move into a virtual terminal and restart Gnome Shell.

Please note that this bug won't show its ugly face right away, only after a few hours of intensive use typically.

Using Linux Mint 12 and Gnome Shell 3.2.1
