In e37e9a1, I added the roundv option which replaces every $v$ by $\upsilon$ so $v$ and $\nu$ look different. However, currently, this implies that an upsilon is written into the pdf instead a v. Thus, when copying the text from pdf, an upsilon is produced! So far, I failed to create an additional symbol which looks like upsilon but is treated as v.

With Minion 3 the situation might be better.

Thanks for the hint. Yes, this helps a bit, still it can be quickly confused...
