  • Motivation: Work within xgnitive (current xgnitive-drl branch) where we want to launch the controller locally.

  • Related: Make apps launch cartesian controller locally?

  • Also related: The approach would potentially superseed ravebot(see Clean asibot-main libraries asibot-main#28) once and for all.

  • Approach: allow YarpOpenraveControlboard to open an OpenRAVE environment upon --env parameter, thus avoiding the current segfault that currently happens if not loaded as a plugin from within openrave.
