Cannot detect ggtag in chrome

Hi,
I'm having some issues connecting over USB, using chrome, to program the device and finding very little documentation to help me out (sorry if I have missed something).

Is there a way to do a complete reset or maybe push a new firmware onto it?
I have managed to write something over sound but seems a bit unstable with large designs.

Actually, I just managed by simply removing the battery and flipping it over to USB.
First time I connected after, it saw it.

There is no need to remove the battery, just flip the switch to USB when you program from PC

No real need for the battery if I am already programming from PC, is there?
