Hi,

Thank you for providing the rcsb viewer, we love it and use it increasingly at PomBase for showing more feature types:
See: https://www.pombase.org/gene_protein_features/SPAC20G8.05c
and https://academic.oup.com/genetics/article/227/1/iyae007/7611443
We use it for engineered mutants, modifications, and protein features
and we have yet to take advantage of the full functionality to link to structures.
We are super happy with it.

At the moment we are replacing our old protein feature views which look like this:

with the rcsb viewer to get a consistent look and feel across the site.
This is the new implementation on the dev site. The only downside of the rcsb view is that it is not possible to label the domains, which is useful for an " at data glance" consumption.

  • We would love it if we could label some of the larger domains, in the same way that InterPro does:

but this functionality is not available.

Please let us know if you add support for feature labelling at any point in the future.

Thanks
Val
