  • give options on the notification itself

Yes makes sense.

We can have a generic notification saying How do was your day? and let the user select the emoji right there in the notification.

Yep. That would be 💯

I think you can only show 2 buttons in the notification though

Yup, for now they user should boil it down to 😄 or 😢
