Change circle scale - % max ERROR (circle become bigger when the scale go from 100% to 1 %) #1
Comments
Hi I know it looks a bit counterintuitive... but could not find a better way. |
Oh, I have just heard a seminar of professor Daniel and one of his slide show a smaller circle on the world map so I thought there is a bug somewhere. Right now on the website, the smallest circle options is already too big and it cover too much of the map to show any meaningfull information of the location (which part of the country the sample come from, etc...). So I thought I would just open an issue here. |
The smallest circle option is 100%... but depending on your screen size it may be even too big. So you need select a specific taxonomic group (division for example) which will reduce the max % or zoom on a specific geographic region you are interested in... |
@vaulot , I'm sorry I did not recognize it was you, prof. Daniel, who reply to the issue until I check your full username (haha). Thank you for the quick reply. The talk make me very interest in the database so I'm trying various feature of the website. I still cannot decrease the size of the circle though. I did try various filtering options to decrease the size of the circle, even the select division but do not obtain the desired result. The only option that seem to work is the "Minimum number of total reads per ASV: 100,000". The circle have a relatively good size for the map of europe view. |
No problem If you use "Minimum number of total reads per ASV: 100,000" you are filtering a lot of the data out.... On my screen, here is an example with 100% (ie this will give the minimum size for each circle) Now if you look at a specific group, e.g. Green lineage this is even better.... keeping at 100% |
