The Pocket Network Protocol Utility Specification outlines approaches to rate limiting and probabilistic volume computation, but the approach to Relay Mining has not been formally presented and proven.

Goals

• Describe and explain what Relay Mining is
• Integrate Relay Mining into the Pocket V1 Specification

Deliverable

• A scientific paper presenting and explaining the concept of Relay Mining
• Update the specification on GitHub to link to and summarize how Relay Mining will be used

General issue deliverables

• Update the appropriate CHANGELOG(s)
• Update any relevant local/global README(s)
• Update relevant source code tree explanations
• Add or update any relevant or supporting mermaid diagrams
