Describe the Enhancement

The opentelemetry php extension is used to provide hooks so that metrics, logs and traces can be created automatically.

Possible Solution

Add ext-opentelemetry through another pecl extension

Motivation

Allow OpenTelemetry php instrumentation to auto-instrument applications
