When trying to send to a contact it does not read that I have sufficient funds.

Recreate:

  1. Add contact
  2. Select Contact to send to
  3. Enter amount
  4. Recieve error

Please propose an alternate flow.

I think the flow is fine. It just does not render that I have the funds needed to send (I do). If I copy the address I can send no problem.

Possibly just a testnet issue?

So, you do have funds in this scenario? then that would be a bug.
