A few thoughts on what could be improved:

  • Could we get a "reason" why sometimes finding a github username/email failed? Maybe with the exact error message encountered?
  • Could we maybe add a field to every contributor, that states to which repos that person contributed? This could make it easier to do "human-eye" detective's work if needed.
  • I would love more statistics in the PR. Something like "x active contributors become retired, namely...". "y new active contributors were found, namely...", "z retired contributors become active again, namely...".

This is not urgent. Am happy to discuss.
