The app automatically removes EXIF metadata from pictures, and therefor is contributing to privacy.
Location data can still be enabled by the user.

Yes, we don't care about the drama, and the app is available on both the Playstore and their own app repo. We recommend/not recommend things purely on a technical basis. Please leave the petty drama out of this.
